Walked to my future neighborhood to see how far away it is from the bars and also to check out the scene. While waiting for a green light I talked to a girl next to me. Opened her with “good morning” (it was night). She cracked up, then I followed up with my usual stack, horse girl, smart tests, etc. We chatted for a bit until she had to cross the street. I got her number, then remembering the advice I gave John K, I suggested we go for tea. Coincidentally she was about to cross the street to go to a tea place.
We chatted at the tea place, she was cracking up the whole time. I was timid with my touch, though, for some reason. Conversation slowed and she said she had to go. In retrospect I should have bounced her immediately when I felt conversation was slowing. We left, hugged, and she told me to call her.
Later that night I walked around Hollywood but for some reason just didn't want to approach. Then I realized I hadn't eaten dinner yet. I ate dinner, decided to give up on cold approaching for the night, and instead focus on socializing. I met up with Traveler, we had a great conversation.
Lessons learned:
- bouncing solidifies numbers and interactions. I should have bounced sooner.
- sometimes the body just needs food. Take care of your body before wondering why your mood is weird.
